Flemington Race 9: #2 Asfoora @ $3.00

Patience will be crucial on Saturday as our best bet of the day Asfoora from the Henry Dwyer yard steps out in the Group 3 Begonia Belle Stakes in the last. The four-year-old mare gave a similar field a galloping lesson in the Group 2 Caulfield Sprint on October 15 when leading throughout, kicking clear and putting close to three-lengths on proven Group-class sprinters. She draws barrier two for the 1100m scamper under John Allen and despite their being genuine speed influencers in the race, Allen will look to have this girl settled just off the leaders, peel towards the inside rail and ultimately prove too speedy once again. Asfoora is a clear best bet of the day at Flemington.

Rosehill Race 5: #9 Mars Mission @ $3.00

Our best bet at Rosehill will come up in the fifth race of the day, where we will be siding with the Michael, Wayne & John Hawkes-trained Mars Mission as he looks to record win three at start number eight. This talented four-year-old gelding has shown good improvement throughout his first two preparation and the Hawkes team will be looking for him to improve even further this campaign after running in a Group 3 and Listed race last preparation. This son of Deep Field showed at his first-up run that he may have been lacking a bit of fitness; however, he should be ready to go second-up, as his form suggests with one win from one second-up run. Zac Lloyd will stick with this guy, and with his 3kg claim and jumping from barrier three, this race sets up very nicely for this progressive gelding.

Eagle Farm Race 4: #9 Otyrar @ $3.20

Race four has our best of the day with the Chris Waller-trained Otyrar. This gelding by New Approach has been ultra-consistent this preparation since travelling up to Queensland, with six starts for three wins and three more minor placings. For the first time, Otyrar takes a significant step up in grade from BM78 company last start into BM90 here over the 2212m, and he looks to get some nice weight relief with just 53.5kg after lugging 58.5kg at this same track and trip on October 15. Samantha Collett rides after having one start on Otyrar for one victory, and she should get the run in behind the speed from barrier three as this horse looks to make it win number four this season.

Morphettville Race 6: #7 Pudding @ $2.80

Having coasted to victory first-up from a six-month spell, the Richard & Chantelle Jolly-trained Pudding looks to be a clear best bet of the day on Saturday. Despite having to travel wide throughout on that occasion, the Tavistock gelding managed to round up his rivals in impressive fashion and looks set to go on with the job here. From barrier 11, he’ll need to give his rivals a start from the rear of the field, but with a similar finishing burst he looks to have a bit of untapped ability compared to his rivals. The $5 on offer with BetOnline is simply impossible to ignore.

Ascot Race 1: #4 Lexington City @ $2.25

Our best bet of the day will come up in the first race, where the Simon Miller-trained Lexington City looks very hard to beat after being pipped on the line first-up over 1000m. After returning from a five-month spell and going within a whisker of winning first-up, this guy will be much fitter, and after winning his only second-up run last preparation, Miller will have this guy ready to go. With only one other speed horse in this race, the speed map should suit this son of City Place. He will lead them up to the corner and look to kick away on the turn and be too far in front for the rest of the field to catch him.
