The South Sydney Rabbitohs will look to continue their golden run of victories on the Gold Coast when they take on the Titans this Saturday in Round 22 of the 2021 NRL season.
The Bunnies have not lost against the Titans at Cbus Super Stadium since 2009, and they’re also on the verge of recording their 10th consecutive win this campaign. Gold Coast come into the game in some good form of their own, having won four of their previous five games, but such is the irresistible football Souths play, the Titans are still the long outsider at $5.50.
The Titans have opted not to recall co-captain Jamal Fogarty from his finger injury and instead stick with rookie halfback Toby Sexton, who is undefeated in his three-game NRL career. David Fifita is in jersey no.12 but is a confirmed starter from the interchange bench, while Tyrone Peachey is a big inclusion on the pine coming back from suspension.
South Sydney have stuck with the same 17 who recorded a dominant win over Parramatta last Friday night.
Rabbitohs vs Titans betting analysis
Points, points and more points are going to be the order of the day for this South Sydney Rabbitohs team in order for them to secure a 10th consecutive win. They needed 40 points to get the job done back in Round 7, and the expectation should be that they may have to score that many again. That brings the overs on the +55.5 total points line well into the equation as well as the -17.5 line.
Josh Mansour is the $6.50 favourite to score the first try of the game, and that once again shows it doesn’t matter who is on that left wing, they’re almost guaranteed to get first crack to score. Cody Walker at $15 is another who makes a lot of sense to back, as he is playing as well as anyone in the competition right now.

Back in Round 7 the Gold Coast Titans gave up a 14-point lead to blow what would have been a monumental win, but perhaps that provided the blueprint for a possible return this week? A Titans half-time/Rabbitohs full-time double is paying a tidy $8.50, and it could be worth a crack considering what happened earlier in the season.
David Fifita is still at $2.75 to score a try at any time, and that price is hard to resist. The big man has provided a ton of impact off the bench and is just about unstoppable from close range. AJ Brimson ($2.70) is in sensational form, and perhaps Patrick Herbert ($3.60) at right centre is another one to keep in your thoughts.
Key matchup: Adam Reynolds vs Toby Sexton
Toby Sexton is a three-game-rookie who is going up against one of the best halfbacks in the game in Adam Reynolds. Sexton’s strengths are similar to that of Reynolds; he offers a nice kicking game and has shown in limited starts he is a great organiser who can get his team into attacking shape quickly. South Sydney don’t have the most iron-clad defence in the competition, so can Sexton combine with Ash Taylor well enough to put some scoreboard pressure back on the Rabbitohs?
Rabbitohs vs Titans predictions & best bets
Match line: Gold Coast Titans +17.5
South Sydney will get the two points, but the Titans will do enough to cover the +17.5 line. This will be a game where both teams score their points in bunches, and it should be a thoroughly entertaining affair on what is expected to be a warm winter afternoon at Robina.
Gold Coast Titans +17.5
Same game multi: 5 legs @ $34.50
Titans +17.5 with David Fifita, Cody Walker, Latrell Mitchell and Josh Mansour to all score a try pays a handsome $34.50.
