Apprentice suspension cut on RAD appeal
A suspension has forced apprentice Ethan Brown out of racing at Moonee Valley but he’s had a careless riding penalty reduced on appeal.
The in-form apprentice failed in his bid to have the suspension overturned but did have it cut by the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board on Thursday.
Brown was suspended at Pakenham on August 31, earning a nine-meeting suspension.
He was granted a stay of proceedings and won on Petite’s Reward at Sandown on Wednesday.
Brown was forced to relinquish his rides at Seymour on Thursday and miss rides on Emoji and Boom Time at Moonee Valley on Saturday.
