Titans vs Panthers NRL betting preview
Not every game in the NRL can be an instant classic, and this one certainly won’t be.
With the Penrith Panthers paying a skinny $1.14, it means there are four teams at odds of $6 or more this week, which paints a bleak picture for round 11.
Penrith bumbled and stumbled for a long time against the Cowboys last weekend, but their superiority shone through in the end and they eventually ran away with the game.
The Gold Coast Titans looked a million miles off the pace against Melbourne last round, and you can expect the same this week even though they are playing at home.
Penrith will be missing Dylan Edwards, Api Koroisau and Dean Whare, which could make it a bit of a challenge for the Panthers. The absence of Koroisau is an enormous out, as he has been the signing of the year and unlocked Penrith’s attack.
Even with their star hooker missing, the Panthers still have enough talent – and the excellent form of Nathan Cleary – to win comfortably.

There are many Penrith players who could cross the stripe first, but Viliame Kikau at $15 might be the pick of the bunch.
Keegan Hipgrave will be tasked with trying to handle him, and he missed 12 tackles last weekend, so you can be sure he will get peppered on Sunday.
Brent Naden on the right side is also worth a shout at $11, as he has proved to be a great strike weapon during his last 12 months in first grade.
The over/under is set at 41.5, and you’d expect that mark to be met even if the forecasted rain comes down.
The Titans are allergic to defending well, having lost by 13 or more points in six of their 10 games in 2020.
Penrith are paying a short $1.65 to win by the big margin, showing the punters feel Gold Coast are in for a long day.
