Novelty betting wrap – Judah the punters’ pick to win The Voice

The Voice contestant Judah Kelly
PUNTERS are all about Judah Kelly as we draw towards the closing stages of The Voice.

Online bookmaker Sportsbet.com.au reports that more than 54% of total wagers for Sunday night’s finale.

He is paying -125 to take out the title for 2017.

Yet there is also some support for Fasika Ayallew, who has closed the gap at the top from +200 into +150.

Both Hoseah Partsch (+500 out to +700) and Lucy Sugerman (+900 out to +1100) have drifted steadily in the past week.

“Punters can’t get enough of Judah this week and he’ll be hard to beat on Sunday with only Fasika keeping anywhere close to him in the betting,” said Sportsbet’s Will Byrne.

Winner of The Voice 2017

-125 – Judah Kelly

+150 – Fasika Ayallew

+700 – Hoseah Partsch

+1100 – Lucy Sugerman

Kerrigan’s Castle tipped to stay in Victoria

An iconic piece of Australian film history is about to go on the auctioneer’s block.

Sportsbet.com.au is expecting a lot of interest in the sale of Dale Kerrigan’s famous house from The Castle – the 1997 hit flick starring Michael Caton, Eric Bana and Stephen Curry.

Only the house – not the property – is going under the hammer, yet punters are tipping it will fetch upwards of $15,000.

There was suggestion the winning bid could come from interstate, but the bookies seem confident that will not be the case.

“We’re tipping bidding will be fierce and it would be a tragedy if the house was relocated out of Victoria,” Sportsbet’s Christian Jantzen said on Thursday.

“In fact it would break the law of bloody common sense.”

How much will The Castle house sell for?

+1000 – Under $5,000

+700 – $5,000 – $7,500

+500 – $7,501 – $10,000

+350 – $10,001 – $12,500

+275 – $12,501 – $15,000

+150 – Over $15,000

Which state will The Castle house be sold to?

-250 – Victoria

+400 – New South Wales

+600 – South Australia

+1000 – Western Australia

+1200 – Queensland

+1600 – Northern Territory

+1800 – ACT

+2500 – Tasmania
