Arch-rivals the Melbourne Victory and Adelaide United are set to clash in Matchweek 9 of the 2021/22 A-League Men season in what is arguably the marquee matchup of the weekend.

Sitting atop the A-League Men’s table are the Victory who will be looking to continue their strong recent form in all competitions. With just one win from their first six matches in the A-League this season, Adelaide will be heading to Melbourne wanting to claim all three points. Having lost to the Victory twice already this season, Adelaide will be needing a big performance from the likes of Craig Goodwin and Stefan Mauk who will be needing to rely on every bit of their experience to lift their side across the line.
