The NFL’s Tuesday (AEDT) game for Week 9 looks like it will be a tight contest between the 4-3 New York Jets and the 3-4 Los Angeles Chargers at MetLife Stadium. It should be a fun one, and we have some NFL betting tips to make it that much better.

The Jets have had an up-and-down season, but they seem to have figured things out. This is unequivocally a defensive team, and the Jets have leaned on that defence during their current three-game winning streak. The Chargers have an awful rush defence, and Hall is capable of breaking free at any time. With the injury to wide receiver Mike Williams, Josh Palmer has become one of Justin Herbert’s favourite targets in the Los Angeles Chargers’ offence. In this game, the Jets’ star cornerback Sauce Gardner will be preoccupied with Keenan Allen, so Palmer will be dealing with lesser talent. At +300 with BetOnline, this is a great bet — even if it’s against a very strong defence.

Justin Herbert interceptions pick: Over 0.5

Justin Herbert is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, but he is prone to some bad passes. After an interception-free first three weeks, Herbert has thrown four interceptions over his last four games. The Jets’ defence is very good, and they will hassle Herbert all game long. This should lead to some ill-advised passes, and we like the Jets’ odds to grab at least one of them.
