Two of the most watchable AFL teams will go head-to-head at the Gabba in this week’s Sunday afternoon timeslot.

The Brisbane Lions have won their last six matches and sit third on the ladder, a massive change from last season.

At the kennel, the Bulldogs are starting to build enough momentum to make a charge up the ladder, where they currently sit ninth by percentage.

Key defender Harris Andrews returns from suspension this week to boost the defensive stocks for Brisbane, whilst the Bulldogs lose veteran Dale Morris through another ACL.

Even though the Dogs have decided to bring in Josh Schache against his old club, he may not make the cut after the extended bench goes from eight to four.

Marcus Bontempelli has been named to start at full forward for the visitors, but whether or not he stays there for long is up in the air.
