Waller unveils plans for Winx to go global
The world’s greatest horse of turf will go global after the Sydney autumn carnival, with trainer Chris Waller outlining two European options for Winx.
Waller said a one-off appearance at Royal Ascot was possible for Winx though ideally she would head overseas for three-race campaign in England, France and Ireland.
“I don’t think we have to go but I think the world’s saying: ‘Listen, can you come over?’ We’d really appreciate you to come,” he said.

“After the George Ryder (on March 17) we’ll make a decision as to when we stop and when we start preparing for Europe.
“We’ll take her through a range of distances.”
And Waller says a campaign in the United States is not out of the question with famed racetrack Churchill Downs on a list of endless possibilities.
“I’ve had a look at some races (in Europe) … they tell me there’s a Breeders’ Cup, dreaming’s easy,” he said.
