Triple Group One winner Turn Me Loose will stand at New Zealand’s Windsor Park Stud in the upcoming breeding season.
The winner of the 2014 NZ 2000 Guineas, Turn Me Loose transferred that form to Australia where he won the 2015 Emirates Stakes and 2016 Futurity Stakes for master trainer Murray Baker.
Studmaster Rodney Schick said Turn Me Loose would be an asset to the stallion roster.
“To have the speed and class to win a 1400 metre Group One race in Australia requires exceptional talent which he had in spades”, Schick said.
Baker said the horse was an exceptional talent.
“Turn Me Loose is one of the few horses I’ve had good enough to beat Australia’s best sprinter/milers,” Baker said.
Turn Me Loose is by Darley stallion Iffraaj whose progeny include Gingernuts, winner of the NZ Derby and Rosehill Guineas, and Australian Derby winner Jon Snow.No tags for this post.
