Titans vs Knights NRL betting preview
The Gold Coast Titans have won four in a row and will be the most confident they have in years heading into their final clash of the NRL 2020 season.
While they’ve only beaten sides alongside them in the bottom eight, the Titans’ road to challenging for a finals berth in 2021 and beyond starts with winning such games.
Justin Holbrook has done a fantastic job to get this team to win eight games, and a victory against a top-eight side on Friday night will set up Gold Coast nicely for next season with some important signings on the way in.
The Newcastle Knights can secure a home final for the first time in 14 years with a win here, and the step up in class for the Titans should be enough to swing it in favour of the visitors at $1.60.
The $3 for a 1-12 Knights win feels like the most likely outcome, but it’s important to remember they’ve lost their last four trips to the Gold Coast, including an embarrassing display last year.

A big inclusion for the Knights is Bradman Best, who will play his first game since round 12 following syndesmosis surgery.
Mason Lino remains at five-eighth and Kurt Mann returns from suspension, pushing Chris Randall back to the interchange following an outstanding performance against the Dragons.
Sione Mata’utia also starts in place of Lachlan Fitzgibbon, who will miss the final game of the regular season but is expected to be fit for week one of the 2020 NRL finals.
Enari Tuala is the leading tryscorer for the Knights in 2020 with 11, including three doubles.
Tuala marks up on Brian Kelly this week, who is all attack and no defence, so he looks a great chance in the anytime tryscorer market.
Kalyn Ponga scored an easy first try against the Dragons, and we believe he will repeat that feat against the Titans.
