Titans vs Cowboys – Johnathan Thurston last match specials
Gold Coast Titans vs North Queensland Cowboys
Kick off at Cbus Super Stadium from 5.30pm
It may not be the farewell season that many anticipated but that won’t take away from the shine that is Johnathan Thurston’s final game this Saturday night.
The North Queensland Cowboy leaves a legacy that is almost unmatched in NRL circles and it would be a perfect send off for the great man to dazzle the fans one last time.
Rather than do a full match preview between the 13th and 14th placed teams in the the competition we took an in-depth look at all things JT heading into his swansong.
Johnathan Thurston last match markets
Crossing the try line has been somewhat of a rarity for JT this campaign.
Thurston has just three tries to his name in 2018, but encouragingly for the man in the headgear two of those have come in the last five games of the season.
We can almost guarantee the Cowboys will be feeding JT at every opportunity, so don’t be surprised to see the great man cross the chalk at some point on Saturday.
Thurston is at $3.75 to score a try at anytime
Outside of the try scoring markets there’s a market open on how many goals JT will kick in his final match of his career.
In a match up where the line is set at 44.5 points across the board, a high scoring affair is expected. There’s great odds around for Thurston to nail five or more goals on Saturday, which should be a formality if the match plays according to the script.
Thurston is at $2.50 to kick five or more goals on Saturday

Titans vs Cowboys – Who wins JT’s last game?
Could we pick against JT in his final ever game?
Just as they did against the Parramatta Eels to avoid the wooden spoon last week, Thurston and his teammates are expected to be firing on all cylinders to send their man out in the right fashion.
The Titans will be no pushovers however.
Gold Coast has won two of their last four matches, and those defeats in that time were by two points against the Panthers and the Melbourne Storm respectively.
Despite the good recent form we’re siding with the Cowboys.
The match is a sellout and the fans should be in for a treat. We’re backing the Cowboys to end their season – and Thurston’s career – in the best way possible.
JT deserves no less.
Result: North Queensland Cowboys – $1.53
