A Super Sunday of BBL action finishes in Sydney with the Sixers hosting the Perth Scorchers at the SCG. This top of the table clash will have little impacts on the ladder in terms of the Finals, however, should be an incredible spectacle for fans across the league.

These two sides were vastly different last time they met with Faf du Plessis and Jhye Richardson lining up for the Perth Scorchers, while the Sixers will have Steve Smith and Nathan Lyon lining up at home. Will the Sixers test stars be able to lead the home side to a win?

The Scorchers side is stacked with talent, which is no surprise given they sit at the top of the BBL ladder. However, the Sydney Sixers are stacked with talent too with a well balanced side that has yet to be beaten at the SCG this season. Josh Phillipe, as he has all season, holds the keys to the success of the Sixers side. His impact at the top of the batting order often sets the tone for their innings. Cameron Bancroft has been in scintillating form for the Scorchers at the top of their batting order and looks almost impossible to get out. The former test opener can play traditional and unconventional shots making him a nightmare to bowl to. Abbott was incredible for the Sixers in the Sydney Smash last start at the Sydney Showgrounds and understand more than most the type of four day bowling length that will force Bancroft to play an unconventional shot and make a mistake. If Abbott can dismiss Bancroft early, he will really test the Scorchers middle order more than they have been recently.
