Perth Scorchers vs Brisbane Heat BBL betting preview

The second match of Saturday’s Big Bash League double header will be played at Optus Stadium between the Perth Scorchers and the red-hot Brisbane Heat.

This will be the second BBL09 battle between the Scorchers and Heat, as they already played back on New Year’s Day when Perth claimed a big victory.

The Scorchers had not played well up to that point, making that result something of an outlier compared to the rest of their performances this season.

Few teams have the batting capability of the Brisbane Heat, who have only grown stronger with the return of Test opener Joe Burns.

It will be a good contest for the Heat’s batsmen as the Perth attack ranks among the most dangerous in the league, with no two bowlers being the same.

He has hit the third-most sixes in the competition, behind only the Heat duo of Chris Lynn and Tom Banton. Livingston struggle a little earlier in the season, but a solid half-century against the Hurricanes will build his confidence heading into this match.
