This Sunday, NRLW will hold its second title decider of 2022 in what will be a perfect curtain-raiser for the men’s NRL Grand Final. In even more incredible circumstances, the Parramatta Eels will take the field in both the women’s and men’s deciders – a first in rugby league history.

The Knights recruitment drive in the off season has paid dividends as Tamika Upton and Millie Boyle have been key players in leading the Knights to their first NRLW Grand Final. The Eels may have stunned the league in producing an upset win against the star-studded Roosters in the semi-final, but the Knights are by far in a way the on top selection here. This will surely be a hard-fought contest that the Knights should prevail in, and the 13+ margin at $3.05 looks the play.

Knights fullback Upton has continued her incredible form at her new club, scoring four tries in her four games this season and busting a whopping 32 tackles this season alone. Upton has scored 11 tries in 15 appearances in her NRLW career and is sure to continue her incredible career trajectory and score on Sunday at $2.40.

Both the Eels and Knights this season have found themselves in high and low scoring matches. What’s key to note is the Knights are simply are far better side than the Eels. Given this, the Knights should be able to pile on the points to take the match over 35.5 for the match.

Key matchup: Millie Boyle vs Kennedy Cherrington

The battle between Kennedy Cherrington and NSW prop Millie Boyle will be one to watch for the entire afternoon. Both ladies are incredible through the middle of the field with their physicality and strong ball carrying. The different between the two is Boyle’s ability to create second phase play by breaking tackles and making offloads. If the Eels are to be any chance of winning, Cherrington will need to stand toe-to-toe with Boyle, create the same type of second phase play for her outside backs that will give the Eels a platform to record an upset win.
