NRL Round 4 betting tips – Manly Sea Eagles vs South Sydney Rabbitohs
Manly Sea Eagles – $2.42 at Sportsbet
South Sydney Rabbitohs – $1.55 at all our trusted online bookmakers
The Manly Sea Eagles finally broke through for their first win of 2019 in emphatic fashion, beating the Warriors across the Tasman.
After a disappointing opening fortnight to the season the Sea Eagles smashed the Kiwis 46-12 in a display that highlighted just how good they can be when they are on song.
Tom Trbojevic’s inclusion was obviously a big factor with the gun scoring two tries in a brilliant showcase of his talismanic skillset.
South Sydney were spectacular in the opening half against the Titans last week, scoring three tries. Wayne Bennett’s men threatened to post a mammoth score before taking the foot off the gas to only just scrape home against a team they should have beaten by double digits.
While the Souths will go into this as raging favourites, it may play in Manly’s favour to once again enter this match up as an underdog.

Tom Trbojevic was the catalyst for his side’s first win on the weekend, scoring two tries and dominating from the fullback position in a match up in New Zealand against the Warriors.
It was one of the best games of the season by an individual player, and while backing it up could be a challenge there’s no doubting the NSW State Of Origin representative’s class and we believe the Sea Eagles will be leaning on him heavily on Saturday afternoon.
It all points towards yet another prolific game for Trbojevic.
Sea Eagles vs Bunnies betting trends
- Sixteen of Manly’s last 18 day matches have gone over the total match points line
- Cameron Murray has been the first try-scorer in each of South Sydney’s last two away matches
- Daly Cherry-Evans has scored a try in four of Manly’s last five day matches at Lottoland
Best bets for Sea Eagles vs Rabbitohs
The Manly Sea Eagles finally got their season rolling last week with a brilliant win against the New Zealand Warriors. The Sea Eagles relished the backs-to-the-wall mentality it took to beat the Kiwis.
This is the kind of mindset they will need to take in against Souths at Lottoland.
The Tom Trbojevic effect cannot be denied, and while the Bunnies represent a massive challenge we think they will be up to the challenge.
Tom Trbojevic to score a try and Manly Sea Eagles to win – $3.60 at Sportsbet
