NRL Round 19 odds and premiership betting
Time is running out for teams outside the eight to make their move in the NRL standings.
Several sides that were languishing in the bottom half a few weeks ago are now looking like genuine finals contenders, while others that once appeared destined to feature in September are scrambling to keep up.
Let’s see how the match markets are shaping up at Sportsbet.com.au – one of Australia’s best online bookies for NRL betting.
Cronulla Sharks vs North Queensland Cowboys
– Latest Cronulla Sharks odds
– Latest North Queensland Cowboys odds
Cronulla have slipped from the top six into 11th place after five losses in a row, while North Queensland have never really looked like challenging for finals. Both sides are in rotten form, yet the Sharks are paying $1.48 at home and the Cowboys are out at $2.60. See our Sharks vs Cowboys preview here.
Newcastle Knights vs Wests Tigers
– Latest Newcastle Knights odds
– Latest Wests Tigers odds
Newcastle and Wests are both desperate for a win after three defeats on the trot. The Knights are $1.49 to win at home and hold onto their place in the eight, while the Tigers are offering $2.57 to spring an upset and claw their way back into finals contention. See our Knights vs Tigers preview here.
South Sydney Rabbitohs vs St George Illawarra Dragons
– Latest South Sydney Rabbitohs odds
– Latest St George Illawarra Dragons odds
This is normally a marquee fixture on the NRL calendar, but St George Illawarra’s dire form has killed any expectation of a close encounter. The Dragons are paying $3.25 to stop the rot with a win over the Rabbitohs, who are $1.33 favourites to claim their third win on the bounce.
Parramatta Eels vs New Zealand Warriors
– Latest Parramatta Eels odds
– Latest NZ Warriors odds
Parramatta are sitting pretty in the top six despite last week’s loss to Manly, while the NZ Warriors are only a point outside the eight after beating Cronulla. The Eels are paying $1.57 to improve on their already-impressive record at Bankwest Stadium, leaving the Warriors with $2.37 odds.
Gold Coast Titans vs Brisbane Broncos
– Latest Gold Coast Titans odds
– Latest Brisbane Broncos odds
Gold Coast have one hand on the wooden spoon after last week’s smashing by the Melbourne Storm, but Brisbane can leap into the top eight with a win against their Queensland rivals. The Titans are $2.85 outsiders on their home deck, with the Broncos well backed at $1.41.
Melbourne Storm vs Manly Sea Eagles
– Latest Melbourne Storm odds
– Latest Manly Sea Eagles odds
Can Manly end Melbourne’s winning streak and close the gap on the top four? The Sea Eagles have won four out of five, while the Storm are unbeaten in nine games. It is no surprise to see the home side pegged as $1.33 favourites and the visitors out at $3.25. See our Storm vs Sea Eagles preview here.
Canterbury Bulldogs vs Sydney Roosters
– Latest Canterbury Bulldogs odds
– Latest Sydney Roosters odds
After a brief revival, normal service has resumed at Canterbury with last week’s defeat to Brisbane. Sydney silenced their critics with a 48-10 demolition of Newcastle at the weekend and boast the shortest odds of the round at $1.15, with Bulldogs out in the boondocks at $5.50.
Penrith Panthers vs Canberra Raiders
– Latest Penrith Panthers odds
– Latest Canberra Raiders odds
The final match of the week is also the toughest to call. Penrith and Canberra are widely regarded as the most likely challengers to the top three come finals time, and the match odds reflect that as they are locked together at $1.90 apiece.

The Sea Eagles have firmed from $19 into $15 and the Panthers have shortened from $23 into $17, while the Sharks ($21 to $31), Knights ($23 to $34) and Eels ($26 to $34) have all moved out. Keep an eye on the $41 Broncos and the $51 Warriors, who shared a $67 quote only a week ago.
