NRL betting tips & bookie bonuses for Round 14 multi of the week
FINALLY, NRL fans get a full week of rugby league action after a fortnight of byes.
Followers of our weekly multi last week will know all too well of the heartache that comes when you invest your money on teams that go into extra time in the NRL.
A dubious golden point victory from the Titans over the Rabbitohs in Perth cost us our multi last week, and while we are entitled to feel aggrieved over the defeat, we have no choice but to get back on the horse and ride towards the next round.
This week looks significantly harder to pick then last round, but a by-product of that difficulty is larger head-to-head odds on matches, which means our multi will have a hefty payout if it is successful.

Brisbane vs. Canberra
Thursday, June 9 from 7.50pm at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane
It is fourth against fifth in the first leg of our multi as the red-hot Raiders travel to Brisbane to face the Broncos on Thursday night.
Brisbane is on a three-game losing streak after dominating the competition at the start of the season.
The Broncos lost badly to the Warriors last time out, but Wanye Bennett has a number of Origin stars returning this week, which should boost their chances significantly.
The Raiders are riding high after three straight wins over quality opposition.
Canberra’s winning margin average has been over 16 points, highlighting just how strong the Raiders have been over the last month.
The Broncos have Corey Oates, Matt Gillett and Travis Waddell returning this week and we are expecting the personnel changes to tip the scales in the home side’s favour.
Expect the Raiders three game win streak and the Broncos three loss streak to end on Thursday.
Multi tip: Brisbane Broncos to win – $1.27
Parramatta vs. Gold Coast
Saturday, June 11 from 5.35pm at TIO Stadium, Darwin
The NRL heads to Darwin for the first time this season as the Parramatta Eels and the Gold Coast Titans clash in the top end.
The Parramatta Eels are coming in fresh off their bye and their first legitimate win over the season, a hard fought victory over the Newcastle Knights.
The Eels have a multitude of problems on and off the field, but their lack of quality halves has seen them slip away from the formidable outfit that we saw prior to the league imposed sanctions.
It has been a hectic schedule for the Titans after playing in an extra time thriller last week against the Rabbitohs, and now a week later they travel to the top end of the continent.
Despite their torrid itinerary, the Titans have been kings of the road this season, and a sensational three game win streak has seen them climb into eighth position.
The odds on offer for the Titans this week are too hard to ignore and we are backing them in to keep their ascension towards the finals and our round 14 multi rolling on.
Multi tip: Gold Coast Titans to win – $1.73
Sydney Roosters vs. Melbourne
Saturday, June 11 from 7.35pm at Allianz Stadium, Sydney
Second placed Melbourne Storm will be looking to put an end to the Sydney Roosters slim finals chances as they travel to Allianz Stadium on Saturday night.
The Storm continued their impressive season last week against the Panthers, crushing the life out of them to record a healthy 18 point win.
Concerns over Cooper Cronk’s much talked about ankle coming out of Origin were allayed early in the piece as the Queensland star crossed the line to score his seventh try of the season.
Cooper Cronk is $3.10 to score a try at anytime against the Roosters on Saturday night
The Roosters kept their very faint finals chances alive after they defeated the Tigers by 14 points last week.
A loss against the Storm would see their $12 odds of making the finals balloon in excess of $20.
We are not expecting an upset here; the Storm are too strong and they should have no troubles sweeping aside the Roosters on Saturday night.
Multi tip: Melbourne Storm to win – $1.42
Cronulla vs. North Queensland
Monday, June 13 from 7pm at Shark Park, Cronulla
Queen’s birthday footy rounds out the multi this week as premiership aspirants Cronulla and North Queensland lock horns at Shark Park on Monday night.
The clash has major top-four ramifications given a win by the Sharks would see them separate themselves from the Cowboys by six points.
The two teams’ fortunes this season could not be contrasted any further.
Cronulla has come back from half time deficits to win three out of four times this season, while the North Queensland Cowboys have the fastest beginners in the league, having been behind after 20 minutes just three times in 2016.
We tipped the Sharks to beat the Broncos almost a month ago when no one gave them a shot and we got the money so why go against them now?
Paul Gallen and the Sharks should salute on Monday night to round out our multi in style.
Multi tip: Cronulla Sharks to win – $1.92
