NFL Sunday week 17 betting predictions & free footy tips | Dec 29
With the NFL playoffs right around the corner, Week 17 is the penultimate Sunday of the NFL Season. With an exciting nine-game slate, here are our best bets for across the day.
Carolina Panthers vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
With a rejuvenated Bryce Young under centre for the Panthers, wide receiver Adam Thielen has had a resurgence, averaging over 70 receiving yards per game in the last month. The Bucs have the second-worst pass defence in the NFL, and when they last met four weeks ago, Thielen had 99 yards and a touchdown. With another shootout expected. Back the veteran to continue his good form, with 80 or more receiving yards at +290 with top betting apps.

Dallas Cowboys vs Philadelphia Eagles
As the NFL’s leading rusher this season, Philadelphia’s Saquon Barkley has been unstoppable on the ground. Additionally, he has 14 touchdowns this season, including multiple on six occasions. In a game the Eagles are expected to win, expect Barkley to be given plenty of carries, with multiple trips to the endzone forecast.

New York Jets vs Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills, the day’s biggest favourites with the top NFL bookmakers and are expected to dominate the Jets. Throughout this year, the duo of Josh Allen and James Cook have been exceptional in the redzone, combining for 29 touchdowns. Splitting carries it is hard to pick who will score, so take the combo market with Neds for the pair to combine for at least two touchdowns at +150 with Marantelli Bet.

Green Bay Packers vs Minnesota Vikings
In a clash between two of the NFC’s top teams, this is a tough game to pick, but expect plenty of points. Both teams averaged over 30 points per game in the last five weeks, and the last time these sides met, it finished with 60 total points. Take the boosted total points line of 52.5 points for some extra value.

Atlanta Falcons vs Washington Commanders
Coming off an exciting win against the Eagles last Sunday, the Commanders should be confident of locking up the 5th seed against the Falcons. Atlanta rookie quarterback Michael Penix is playing just his second game, while the Commanders have defied plenty of expectations throughout this season. Playing at home, Washington should be too strong, so back them to cover the line.
Washington Commanders -6.5
