It will be a huge week for the Cairns Taipans and the Adelaide 36ers, who are both hunting the last qualifying spot for the finals. The Sydney Kings, Perth Wildcats and Melbourne United are heavily favoured for the top three positions, but fourth place is still up for grabs.

NBL Round 12 betting predictions
36ers vs Hawks: Having won four of the last five matches to jump to fourth position on the NBL ladder, the Adelaide 36ers are as mysterious as ever. Illawarra is in an unfortunate position with injuries to both LaMelo Ball and Aaron Brooks, the two best players on the team. Without the star guards to lead the way, the Hawks have lost their last three games and will struggle here.
Wildcats vs United: These teams sit second and third on the ladder, with the Wildcats in the higher position. Melbourne United have been up and down with their form in the past few rounds, winning two of the last three games. Bryce Cotton is the outright favourite for the NBL MVP award at $3 with Sportsbet and leads the Wildcats to victory in most matches. Cotton and Terrico White are one of the league’s best duos, and they will outmatch Melbourne United in Western Australia.
Taipans vs 36ers: It had been a very productive month for the Cairns Taipans before they faced the Wildcats and South East Melbourne Phoenix. Until the last two losses, Cairns had won five out of six games. The 36ers beat the Taipans earlier in the season, but that game was played in Adelaide. This match will be played at the Snake Pit, where the Taipans have won five out of eight games.
Kings vs Phoenix: The Kings went through a slight form slump earlier in the month, losing to the Wildcats and Taipans back-to-back. But they bounced back in awesome fashion, beating Melbourne United at Melbourne Arena. Now that the Kings are back in form and on their home court, we see them beating South East Melbourne Phoenix without straining too much.
