Melbourne United vs Sydney Kings NBL betting preview
Two of the competition’s biggest rivals will clash this Saturday night when Melbourne United take on the Sydney Kings at John Cain Arena in round seven of the 2020/21 NBL season.
This weekend’s NBL action is worth keeping an eye on, as both United and the Kings are looking to increase their winning streaks after starting round seven with a victory.

Currently sitting first and second respectively in the NBL Cup standings, Sydney and Melbourne are the two form teams in the competition, especially the latter with an 8-1 win-loss record this season.
United lead this matchup in almost every statistical category, but with Chris Goulding out injured, Casper Ware and the Kings could surprise them and steal this win.
Melbourne United vs Sydney Kings NBL betting tips
Jock Landale to score 15+ points
This will be the first time in the 2021 season Jock Landale meets the Kings, who are below-par when it comes to interior defence. Landale loves to shoot his outside shots, but this is a great opportunity for the 211cm prospect to use his big body in the paint. Landale has already taken control on offence in the absence of Goulding and should exceed his season average of 15 points this weekend.

Melbourne United to score under 88.5 points
Scoring has been tricky for Melbourne in its last four matches, despite a number of players stepping up in the last week. The Kings have held strong on defence in six of their last seven matches, where they only conceded more than 85 points on one occasion. Although United are the favourites here, the Kings will ensure it is not a high-scoring match.

Melbourne United to win
In their last contest against a very strong Adelaide 36ers lineup, United came away with the win despite a comeback from the Sixers in the second half. They started off strong and were good enough to keep their lead until the final siren, and we think they can do something similar against the Kings. Sydney won over a very ordinary New Zealand squad last time out, but the side has lost two of its last four matches.
