Super Saturday for round six of the 2024 NRL Premiership continues in Parramatta with the Eels hosting the North Queensland Cowboys at CommBank Stadium.

The Eels lost to the Tigers by one point a fortnight ago before travelling to Canberra and being belted by the Raiders. On the other hand, the Cowboys bounced back from a drubbing by the Broncos to beat the Titans by 13 points in Townsville last week.

Bryce Cartwright has been named to start in the second row despite a rib injury, so Ryan Matterson could be a last-minute addition to the run-on side.

North Queensland Cowboys coach Todd Payten has been forced to replace the injured Zac Laybutt (knee), with Thomas Chester being called into the starting side. The remainder of the North Queensland team is unchanged.

However, the Cowboys have been one of the form sides of the NRL this season, while the Eels have struggled majorly with injuries.
