Winning the opening race at Mornington on debutant The Queen’s Reward has come at a cost for Daniel Stackhouse.
He was suspended for eight meetings by Mornington stewards for careless riding in the 1000m maiden.

Stewards deemed the interference to be in the low range, took into account his guilty plea and that Stackhouse had ridden in 306 races since his last suspension.
Stackhouse rides at Bendigo on Thursday, Swan Hill on Friday and Flemington on Saturday before starting his suspension.
He made an unsuccessful plea to stewards to enable him to ride at Caulfield on September 23 but he cannot return until September 25.
