Is Dan Christian the best allrounder in the Big Bash League?

That might be a bridge too far, but the journeyman from Camperdown has proved a very canny signing for the Renegades.

Christian has added valuable runs to the middle order, especially when batting in tandem with Afghani star Mohammad Nabi.

His tricky medium pace has also dampened the impact of Dwayne Bravo’s defection to the Melbourne Stars.

The former Australia rep ranks top five at the ‘Gades in both runs and wickets this season, so there is value in backing him to deliver in either innings.
