Two wins in their last eight games against the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium spells danger for the Sydney Roosters in round four of the 2020 NRL season.

Even during their successful tilt at back-to-back premierships, this was a game the Tricolours were unable to win.

The Brisbane Broncos head into the game coming off a 28-point drubbing by Parramatta, so there is sure to be some bounce-back factor.

With no Kotoni Staggs, Alex Glenn, Tevita Pangai Jr, or David Fifita, it leaves the Broncos very thin on their edges in defence.

The left edge of the Roosters will almost certainly create the first try scoring chance in the game, so look to Boyd Cordner, Josh Morris, Luke Keary, or Daniel Tupou to cross for the opener.

Brisbane only managed to complete six sets in the second half against the Eels, but that has to be considered an aberration.

Even if they just complete their sets at the competition average, the Broncos should provide a good test for the Roosters this week.
