bet365 beefs up innovation department in bid to stay at top

bet365 beefs up technology research department

bet365 will attempt to integrate new technology like Chat GPT, Metaverse and bitcoin into its products in a bid to stay in front of the opposition.

The wagering giant made the announcement that Hillside Technology, which they own, would be launching a new Platform Innovation Hub focused on developing new technologies.

bet365 (bet365 review) said the aim of Platform Innovation Hub would be to investigate new technologies and to find any symmetries it might have with their existing business and how they can implement them.

The Platform Innovation Hub will recruit from both within and outside bet365 and will feature a team of technology specialists.

“The strength of our product and the creativity of the people who engineer it, has ensured we’ve continued to lead the market,” bet365 Head of Platform Innovation, Alan Reed, said.

“Looking forward, we want to take the next quantum leap. Doing so will require looking outward and exploring the new technologies and processes that exist outside of our purview.

“We’re looking for free thinkers who excel at solving real world problems. People who can approach technologies like the Metaverse, Bitcoin and ChatGPT without bias, pull them apart, and return with ideas on how they can disrupt our business.

“In addition to our internal and external recruitment, we will run a residency programme to immerse our people in a culture of innovation and determine how it can be driven into their departments.”

bet365 operates as a bookmaker in Australia , with no legal online casino gambling allowed because of local laws.
