Best multi odds & betting specials for A-League Round 6

2017/18 A-League soccer betting

TO paraphrase Meatloaf, three out of five ain’t bad.

It wasn’t quite good enough, however, to get us the juicy $91 payout we were hunting with our A-League multi bet for round five.

There are no easy games to call in this division, which is why this week’s soccer accumulator is also offering big returns.

Top odds for round six come courtesy of Neds.com.au, where new punters can claim an exclusive $500 sign-up bonus by following our links and entering the special promo code GETON500.

A-League multi bet for round six

Central Coast Mariners vs. Sydney FC

Friday, November 10 – 7:50pm AEDT – Central Coast Stadium

Mariners – $5.50
Draw – $4
Sydney – $1.58

Although Central Coast are winless after five games, there are plenty of other teams in the same boat. They have some fine players on the ball, but last week’s 0-0 draw with Brisbane typified their lack of quality and ruthlessness in the final third. Sydney needed only one goal to topple Melbourne City and claim top spot, thus maintaining their unbeaten record in A-League 2017/18. The defending champs should have no issues here.

Adelaide United vs. Newcastle Jets

Saturday, November 11 – 5:05pm ACDT – Coopers Stadium

United – $2.20
Draw – $3.50
Jets – $3.10

Even the heroics of goalkeeper Paul Izzo were not enough to prevent United losing 1-0 to Perth last time out. Still, the signs are positive all-round from a team that really struggled in 2016/17. If you are looking for big improvers, the Jets have set the benchmark. They are third on the ladder after last week’s confident 3-0 win over Wellington, and yet to drop a game. We reckon that run might end, however, with home advantage getting Adelaide across the line.

Melbourne Victory vs. Brisbane Roar

Saturday, November 11 – 7:50pm AEDT – Etihad Stadium

Victory – $1.75
Draw – $3.75
Roar – $4.50

When will that first win come? Victory battled with 10 men to force a draw with Wanderers last week, and they will lose Mitch Austin (suspension) and Mark Milligan (international duty) for Brisbane’s visit. There are two big ins, however, with Besart Berisha and Leigh Broxham returning to the fold. The Roar have put together back-to-back draws, but the current squad lacks the quality and flair that has made this club so watchable for so many years. Get on Melbourne to break the drought.

Wellington Phoenix vs. Perth Glory

Sunday, November 12 – 4:30pm NZDT – Westpac Stadium

Phoenix – $2.55
Draw – $3.60
Glory – $2.55

Like the Victory, the Mariners and the Roar, Wellington are somewhat unlucky to be winless after five rounds. They were no good against Newcastle, however, shipping three unanswered goals either side of half-time in their poorest outing of the season to date. The Glory returned to the winners’ circle with a hard-fought result over Adelaide, and fans will have been delighted with a rare clean sheet. Both teams are capable of losing this one badly, so let’s split the difference and tip the draw.

Melbourne City vs. Western Sydney Wanderers

Sunday, November 12 – 7pm AEDT – AAMI Park

City – $2.20
Draw – $3.40
Wanderers – $3.20

City were beaten, but they certainly were not disgraced in last week’s table-top clash with Sydney FC. Tim Cahill – who is unfit in any case – is away for the Socceroos’ World Cup playoff in Honduras, but Scott Jamieson is back and Osama Malik returns from suspension. Wanderers could only manage a draw against 10-man Victory, which means they are winless since the first game of the season. Get around City to bounce back with a win at home.
