With the regular season concluded, the Big Bash Finals are here as the Perth Scorchers take on the Adelaide Strikers in the Knockout Final at Optus Stadium.

With a top-two spot on the line in their final match of the regular season, the Perth Scorchers fell in a last-ball thriller to the Sydney Sixers on Tuesday night. Going down in a record chase at Optus Stadium, the Scorchers have subsequently missed out on a double chance. After losing three of their last five games this season, the two-time defending champions now face a much tougher path to the title.

The Adelaide Strikers enter this finals series in very different form, winning their final four matches of the season to scrape into the top four. In their final match of the season, the Strikers comfortably dealt with the Sydney Thunder to win by nine wickets with 23 balls to spare.

Looking towards the matchup, the spectators are set for a treat, with quality on both sides of the park.
