Anderson credits staff for stable success

Epic Girl wins at Eagle Farm.
Epic Girl has continued a blazing start to the Chris Anderson-Robert Heathcote training partnership.

Co-trainer Chris Anderson was quick to praise trackwork rider Hannah Bayliss after Epic Girl continued her winning form at Eagle Farm.

Epic Girl ($3.40) made it two wins and three minor placings when she beat New Horizons ($6) by a short neck with a head to Tisani Magic ($14) in the Harrison Menswear Plate (1200m).

Anderson trains the mare with Rob Heathcote and the win continued their outstanding start to their training partnership.

It was the 38th overall winner since they started on May 1 and it was the sixth win this season in the metropolitan area, putting them in second place on the premiership.

Anderson said a lot of the credit could go to the partnership’s staff with Bayliss a typical example of why the venture it was proving a success.

“She is very dedicated and rides Epic Girl all of her trackwork. Things are going good at the moment and if we are to continue it will be thanks to staff like her,” Anderson said.

Epic Girl is raced by her breeder Doctor Robert Watson who has had a lot of success with home bred horses in the past two decades.
