Can the Brisbane Bullets keep their 2021 NBL Finals dream alive when they take on the 36ers this Saturday at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre?
The Bullets secured an important victory against South East Melbourne Phoenix earlier in round 16, knocking off the championship contenders in a big upset. Nathan Sobey and Lamar Patterson led the way for Brisbane with a combined 47 points.
Isaac Humphries recently returned from a long stint on the sidelines for the 36ers. This will be the young centre’s third game back from his foot injury, so he should be cherry ripe to take on the Bullets.
The Bullets will head into this match with only one day’s rest, but they have a good record off the short break. Brisbane has won three of its five matches off a one-day break, including their round five victory over the Adelaide 36ers.
These two franchises have already faced off three times this season, with two games going in favour of the Bullets. This will be their fourth and final meeting of the 2020-21 NBL regular season.

Under 175.5 total points
The last six Adelaide 36ers home matches have gone under the total points line, while two of the three clashes between Adelaide and Brisbane have gone under as well. Although the Bullets are one of the highest-scoring teams in the NBL, they have only averaged 80 points per game from their last three contests – seven points below their season average.

Brisbane Bullets to win by 1-10 points
Lamar Patterson was exceptional in the 2019-20 season, but after moving from Brisbane to New Zealand earlier this season, he struggled to find his place in the Breakers side. The 2019-20 All NBL First Team member has returned to the Bullets and looks back to his best. He and Nathan Sobey should carry Brisbane to another victory this Saturday.
Brisbane Bullets by 1-10 points
