The Hyundai A-League has been Australia’s premier soccer competition since its maiden season across the summer of 2005/2006. Since then the battle for A-League’s “toilet seat” trophy – has become a fierce battle each season.

The road to the A-League grand final
It all begins with 10 teams battling it out in the regular season:

After a 27 round regular season commencing in October and running through to the following May, the finals series gets underway, culminating in the grand final.

2017 A League final
The Hyundai A-League season begun on October 7 with a match between Brisbane Roar and Melbourne Victory. It will run right through the summer months with the finals beginning on the weekend of April 21. The season will culminate with the grand final to be played on May 7.
