A-League betting update: Perth and Sydney the teams to beat

A-League soccer odds

Perth Glory and Sydney FC are the joint-favourites in the outright betting for the 2019/20 A-League season.

Bet365.com has last term’s grand finalists locked together at $5 odds for the championship, with Melbourne Victory ($6) and Melbourne City ($7) not far behind.

Western Sydney Wanderers are the next best at $11, while many online bookmakers have Adelaide United at much shorter odds than the $15 on offer at Bet365.

Western United are paying $17 to salute in their maiden campaign, which puts them well ahead of Central Coast Mariners and Wellington Phoenix (both $34) in the A-League title betting.

The A-League 2019/20 season commences on Friday, October 11, when the Reds of Adelaide play host to the reigning champions.
