2025 World Surf League CT schedule and betting odds
The World Surf League (WSL) has officially unveiled the 2025 Championship Tour (CT) schedule, delivering an exciting mix of new destinations and celebrated classics across its men’s and women’s events.
Spanning 11 regular-season stops and culminating in the WSL Finals at Fiji’s iconic Cloudbreak, the schedule promises to showcase the sport’s best talent on a diverse array of world-class waves.
Cloudbreak to host WSL Finals
For the first time, Cloudbreak, Fiji, will host the one-day winner-takes-all WSL Finals, where the Top 5 men’s and women’s surfers will compete for the 2025 World Titles.
This revered left-hand reef break is famed for its powerful barrels and pristine conditions, setting the stage for what promises to be a historic showdown.
WSL iconic locations make their return
The 2025 season sees the return of fan-favorite venues, including Snapper Rocks in Queensland, Australia, and Jeffreys Bay in South Africa. Snapper Rocks, known for its long, hollow waves, rejoins the schedule after a five-year hiatus, while J-Bay’s legendary Supertubes will once again challenge surfers with its fast, powerful right-handers.
Lower Trestles in Southern California also returns as a regular-season stop after last appearing in 2017.
Its cobblestone peaks have provided a dramatic backdrop for past World Title victories, including John John Florence’s and Caitlin Simmers’ recent triumphs in 2024.
WSL Championship Tour goes to Abu Dhabi
Adding to the excitement is Abu Dhabi’s debut on the CT circuit.
Using state-of-the-art technology from the Kelly Slater Wave Company, Surf Abu Dhabi will host surfers on the world’s largest and most hollow human-made wave.
This innovative stop on Hudayriat Island will be a groundbreaking addition to the tour, blending futuristic surf technology with the natural beauty of the UAE.
Other highlights include a shift to more favorable swell windows for events at El Salvador’s Punta Roca and Brazil’s Saquarema, ensuring competitors can perform at their peak on these world-class breaks.
