Yendall taken to hospital after fall
Jockey Dean Yendall has been taken to hospital for scans after a fall early in a race at Mildura.
Yendall rode a winning treble at Monday’s meeting but came off Soldier’s Image shortly after the start of the final race.
Racing Victoria said Yendall was conscious and speaking to medical staff following the fall but complaining of neck and shoulder pain.
Yendall is a clear leader in this season’s Victorian jockeys’ premiership.
