Written By storms home to win Blue Diamond
Heavily backed Written By has stormed home to win the $1.5 million Group One Blue Diamond Stakes at Caulfield.
The victory puts the Grahame Begg-trained colt in the select company of two-year-olds who have won the Blue Diamond Prelude-Blue Diamond double.
Written By led at the top of the straight on Saturday and managed only to extend his lead in the 1200m race, beating Enbihaar by three lengths, with Oohood in third.
