Weekend multi tips and bookmaker free bets for December 9-10
WEEKEND multi investors must be on cloud nine after last week’s effort, which saw the team at Bettingsite.com.au pick four of the most comfortable victories you will see.
Not only was it a joy to watch, but the $6.46 return was not bad either.
We are not ones to dwell on the past however, as our focus shifts to this week. We are taking it one weekend at a time like all good teams do as we look to go back-to-back.
Had enough of the clichés?
This weekend’s multi kicks off in Perth, jumps over to the motherland of England before ending in America. We are looking at a dividend that is close to double what we produced last week, but we are taking the same level of confidence in.
It all bodes well for a great weekend on the punt.
All odds for this weekend’s action were provided by Sportsbet.com.au.
Selections for the December 9-11 weekend multi:
Hectorjayjay to win the Inter Dominion final ($2.40)
Perth Glory to beat Newcastle Jets ($1.67)
Manchester City to defeat Leicester ($1.75)
Seattle Seahawks to beat the Green Bay Packers ($1.70)
Combined multi value: $11.92 @ Sportsbet.com.au
Inter Dominion Final
Saturday, December 10 from 12.30am AEDST Gloucester Park, Perth
It is the harness racing world’s equivalent of AFL Grand Final day in Perth this Friday (early Saturday for eastern state dwellers) as the $1.1 million Inter Dominion Final takes place.
As expected the final is full of talent, but we are loving the form of the horse that did not taste defeat throughout the entire stretch of qualifiers, Hectorjayjay.
Last time out the Victorian six-year-old breezed past the field hard held to record an incredibly comfortable victory, and while many have queried how well it will do from a second row draw, we are happy to take the odds on offer.
Hectorjayjay is an absolute stud trotter and has more than enough talent to overcome a tricky barrier nine draw to blitz this field and get our multi off to the ideal start.
Hectorjayjay to win the Inter Dominion Final – $2.40
Perth Glory vs. Newcastle Jets
Saturday, December 10 from 10pm AEDST, NIB Stadium, Perth
Weekend multi investors are staying overnight in Perth as the second leg sees the Glory hosting the Jets at NIB Stadium.
Perth looking to snap a winless streak after a fortnight outside the winner’s circle. The Glory gets the perfect opportunity against a Newcastle team who is locked on points at the bottom of the ladder alongside the Reds and the Phoenix.
The Jets have scored just two goals in their last six matches and look to have lost all of their early season momentum which saw them matching some of the best teams in the league.
This is one of the easiest A-League fixtures to predict this weekend. Perth should comfortably beat the Jets to get their names back on the winner’s list.
Perth Glory to win – $1.67
Sunday, December 11 from 4.30am AEDST King Power Stadium, Leicester
The ice-cold Leicester host an out-for-blood Manchester City in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Leicester is in real danger of being relegated this season. The Foxes have won just once since late September and have conceded defeat to two bottom of the table sides in the last fortnight.
Manchester City was disappointing last week against Chelsea at home but the Sky Blues have the perfect opportunity to bounce straight back against a team who look a shell of the team that hoisted the Premier League trophy less than six months ago.
The only issue for City is the the unavailability of Sergio Aguero, who was suspended for a month for a reckless challenge on Chelsea defender David Luiz, but Pep Guardiola has enough quality in reserve to beat a lacklustre Leicester.
City should get the win to keep our multi rolling.
Manchester City to win – $1.75
Green Bay Packers vs. Seattle Seahawks
Monday, December 12 from 8.25pm AEDST, Lambeau Field, Green Bay, Wisconsin
We return to the NFL for the final leg of our weekend multi as the Packers host the Seahawks in the chilly state of Wisconsin.
Green Bay’s defence has been horrendous over the course of the season, but a two-game win streak has seen the Packers tighten up their efforts on the points limitation end, conceding just 26 points across the last fortnight.
One area that the Pack has particularly struggled in is the running game – a facet of the game the Seahawks excel.
Russell Wilson looks to have rediscovered his running game, while Thomas Rawls continues to spilt defences apart. It does not bode well for the men in green.
The Seattle Seahawks have dominated the Green Packers in recent times. The visitors have won three of the last four match ups against the Pack and we believe they will keep that phenomenal run going on Monday.
Seattle should win to give us a second straight weekend multi win.
Seattle Seahawks to win – $1.70
