Trainer likes what he sees in Orange
English trainer Michael Bell has arrived in Australia to oversee the final Melbourne Cup preparations of Big Orange.
Bell saw Big Orange for the first time in two weeks at the Werribee quarantine facility on Thursday and was more than happy with the stayer’s condition.
He said Big Orange had travelled much better than he had in 2015, losing 13 kilograms on the trip compared to 30kg last year when he finished fifth in the Cup.
