Strikers v Renegades tips & same game multi pick | BBL 10/1

The Adelaide Strikers are a narrow favourite with betting sites to defeat the Melbourne Renegades in their Big Bash League clash being played at the Adelaide Oval on Tuesday night.

The Renegades will be looking to continue their two game winning streak and ascend the BBL ladder, while the Strikers are desperate for a win following a four game losing streak.

The Renegades will be without Akeal Hosein and Mujeeb Ur Rahan for their clash with the Strikers, and the loss of the spin twins could not come at a worse time.

The Strikers will be full of confidence coming off their record breaking run chase against the Hobart Hurricanes and returning to the scene of the historic event, will only make winning for the Renegades harder.

The Strikers may be without Rashid Khan for the rest of the season, but this supremely talented squad appears to be peaking at the right time.

Under the leadership of Matt Short and Chris Lynn with the bat, it’s hard to see the Renegades having the stock to beat the Strikers in Adelaide. $1.73 for the men in blue to win is a great price.

The additions of Australian test stars Travis Head and Alex Carey will be huge for the Strikers, but Lynn continues to be one of the main forces of this batting line up.

Add into the mix the distinct lack of spinning options for the Renegades, and he will be incredibly hard to stop on what is normally an excellent batting wicket. Lynn shapes to be the leading run scorer of this side again paying $4.50 with cricket betting sites.

Head’s return from international duties comes at a great time, not only for the squad, but particularly the bowling unit. Without Khan, Head provides a quality spinning option for the Strikers who can rush through his overs and always has an ability to take a wicket in T20 cricket. KEY MATCH UP: DAVID MOODY v MATT SHORT

The possible inclusion of David Moody into this Renegades side following the departure of Hosein and Mujeeb is an interesting one. In his one performance this season for the Renegades, his incredible pace and bounce against the Hurricanes in Hobart really upset Jimmy Neesham, Caleb Jewel and Shadab Khan when he took three wickets in his four overs. Moody would be tasked with creating the same uncomfortable environment for star opener Short who led the Strikers to their historic win last start. If Moody is included in this Renegades side, it will be a lot of fun to watch.
