Melbourne Storm v Parramatta Eels R11 preview
The Melbourne Storm will resume their pursuit for first place on the NRL ladder on Sunday afternoon when they take on the embattled Parramatta Eels in round 11 of the NRL Premiership.
The Eels currently sit 13th on the NRL ladder and are fighting to avoid last place following big losses to the Dolphins, Sea Eagles, and Broncos in recent weeks.
Meanwhile, the Melbourne Storm suffered an unlikely loss to the Nicho Hynes-less Sharks in Melbourne last weekend. They will be eager to bounce back from that, with the possibility of leap-frogging the Panthers and Sharks to lead the competition.
Parramatta Eels head coach Brad Arthur has made changes to his side, dropping Ethan Sanders back to the reserves and promoting Daejarn Asi to the five-eighth role. Bryce Cartwright (ribs) has been named to return from injury, with Brendan Hands dropping back to the reserves.
Storm coach Craig Bellamy will welcome back star winger Xavier Coates (hamstring) from injury in place of Grant Anderson, in an otherwise unchanged line-up.

Storm v Eels betting predictions
The Storm opened as favourites with the top NRL bookmakers and will be well supported with the return of their main attacking weapon on the wing.
The Storm have won more than 75% of their games at Suncorp Stadium, a greater percentage than the Broncos, and have also won each of their last ten matches following a loss. Meanwhile, the Eels’ form away from home has been terrible, having failed to cover the line in six of their last seven matches and losing each of their last four interstate matches by 13+ points. The Storm will be expected to recover from last weekend’s loss with an emphatic 13+ point win at +105 with Neds.
The Storm love playing during the day with their incredible scoring strike weapons across the park. Nine of their last 10-day matches have gone over the total points margin. In a strong bounce-back win from last weekend, combined with Parramatta’s poor form recently, expect a high-scoring affair with more than 45.5 total points scored (-111.11).
It could be argued that Harry Grant was incorrectly sin-binned last weekend, and the Storm captain will be spearheading the attack from hooker. In each of his last three games against the Eels he’s scored at least one try. There is great value with PlayUp for him to score a try at any time during the match (+220).
