RV and VBA announce on-course enhancement
Punters betting on Victorian city meetings will have an added bonus of seeing the on-course bookmaker fluctuations alongside the official price fluctuations calculated from corporate bookmakers.
Racing Victoria and the Victorian Bookmakers Association have trialled the service at recent meetings and it will go live at Flemington on Saturday.
The VBA price shown on screens will be the average price of the on-course rails bookmakers giving punters enhanced information.
The new pricing service will be available from 25 minutes before each Melbourne race and also published on dynamicodds.com.
RV and the VBA will monitor the service before considering expanding it to feature country meetings.
