Royal Symphony draws nine in Guineas

Caulfield Guineas favourite Royal Symphony has drawn barrier nine in the 16-horse field with well-supported Godolphin colt Kementari next to him in 10.

Saturday’s $2 million race has a capacity field plus one emergency with New Zealander Summer Passage coming up with gate 17.

In the Thousand Guineas for fillies on the same program and also over 1600 metres, the favourite Alizee has drawn barrier two of eight.
