NRL round 14 odds and betting analysis
The odds for round 14 of the NRL season have been released, with the first match to be played on Thursday night.
The Canberra Raiders have been installed narrow favourite to defeat Cronulla Sharks, who are sitting sixth after an impressive victory 42-22 win over Parramatta Eels.
The Raiders are price at $1.75 while the Sharks odds are $2.05 to cause an upset.
The Gold Coast Titans, who are 15th on the NRL ladder, are at $1.95 to defeat the 12th-placed New Zealand Warriors ($1.85), who were punished by the Melbourne Storm last outing.
The North Queensland Cowboys and Wests Tigers will thrash it out on Friday night, in what is looming as an important clash. The Cowboys have been installed a $1.60 favourite, while the Tigers are outsiders at $2.30.
Melbourne Storm’s odds for a win are $1.38 in their clash against the Newcastle Knights ($3.00), to be played on Saturday.
The South Sydney Rabbitohs are at $1.53 to win their clash against Penrith Panthers ($2.51).
Parramatta is priced at $1.80 in its clash against the Brisbane Broncos, who are priced at $2. The Broncos are coming off a morale-sapping 26-18 loss to the Gold Coast.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, Manly is priced at $1.50 to defeat St George-Illawarra Dragons ($2.50).
In the final game of the round, Sydney Roosters ($1.21) are shortest priced favourite of the round, with Canterbury at $4.31 to win the match.
