NRL Round 10 betting preview, free tips & predictions
The 2025 NRL season rolls into Round 10 with eight crucial fixtures that could shake up the ladder. From Thursday night in Parramatta to Sunday afternoon on the Northern Beaches, every game counts.
For those diving into NRL betting this week, there’s value across the round with smart matchups and shifting lines.
Parramatta Eels vs Dolphins
Thursday, May 8 – 7:50pm AEST – CommBank Stadium
The Eels will be desperate to get back on track at home and should find some fluency against a Dolphins side that lacks polish away from home. Parramatta’s spine has more cohesion, and they’ll be keen to assert dominance through Mitch Moses and Dylan Brown. Expect a closely contested affair with the Eels winning.

Newcastle Knights vs Gold Coast Titans
Friday, 9 May – 6pm AEST – McDonald Jones Stadium
Newcastle at home are a different beast, and Gold Coast have struggled with consistency on the road. Kalyn Ponga continues to find form and is well supported by Jackson Hastings and Bradman Best in attack. The Titans have flair but defensively have struggled with lapses in key moments. The Knights should be too strong across the park, and it could blow out late.

South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Bri11sbane Broncos
Friday, 9 May – 8pm AEST – Accor Stadium
The Rabbitohs and Broncos headline Friday night in a clash that could go either way. Souths’ attacking weapons look sharper with Cody Walker and Latrell Mitchell in good touch, while the Broncos have been inconsistent and could be vulnerable on the edges. This one should have plenty of tries on both sides of the park.

Canberra Raiders vs Canterbury Bulldogs
Saturday, 10 May – 3pm AEST – GIO Stadium
The Raiders are always hard to beat in the nation’s capital, especially when they get an early roll-on through Josh Papalii and Joseph Tapine. Canterbury sit top of the NRL ladder for a reason, but they still struggle to control games in the second half. Expect Ricky Stuart’s men to win the middle and grind out a result and win a closely contested game over the Bulldogs.
Raiders by 1-12 points
St George Illawarra Dragons vs New Zealand Warriors
Saturday, 10 May – 5:30pm AEST – WIN Stadium
The Dragons will be desperate to bounce back in front of their Wollongong faithful and should get up for this one. The Warriors continue to battle injury setbacks and can’t seem to hold form away from Auckland. Ben Hunt and Zac Lomax need to stand up, and this feels like the match to do it.
Dragons by 1-12 points
North Queensland Cowboys vs Penrith Panthers
Saturday, 10 May – 7:35pm AEST – Queensland Country Bank Stadium
The Cowboys are hosting their 30th anniversary match in Townsville but face the stiffest test possible. Penrith’s machine-like forward rotation and Nathan Cleary’s game control have been too much for most sides this season. North Queensland will be fired up and could match intensity early, but the polish of the Panthers should win out.
Panthers by 13+ points
Melbourne Storm vs Wests Tigers
Sunday, 11 May – 2pm AEST – AAMI Park
AAMI Park is a fortress for the Melbourne Storm, and the Tigers just don’t have the firepower to go with them across 80 minutes. Cam Munster and Jahrome Hughes are in sync again, and the Storm’s edge defence should snuff out any Tigers raid. Wests will fight, but they look outclassed on paper.
Storm by 13+ points
Manly Sea Eagles vs Cronulla Sharks
Sunday, 11 May – 4:05pm AEST – 4 Pines Park
The Northern Beaches will be buzzing for this coastal derby, and it’s the Sea Eagles who usually lift for home games. The Sharks are slick in attack, but their edge defence has been a concern and that’s where the Sea Eagles can strike. Expect line breaks, tries, and big momentum swings throughout.
