NRL odds 2025: Storm and Panthers top premiership betting
Melbourne Storm is expected to push deep into the 2025 NRL season, with online bookmakers installing the beaten grand finalist as favourite to win the premiership.
The Storm sit ahead of grand final winner Penrith in NRL betting, priced $4 to win the premiership with PlayUp, with the Panthers ($4.50) also expected to contend.
The Panthers won their fourth sucessive NRL grand final on Sunday 14-6, but they will lose Sunia Turuva, Jarome Luai, James Fisher-Harris and Isaiah Iongi.
The Storm maintain a very settled squad for 2025, with no notable departures from the team that claimed the minor premiership.
Regardless, the two sides are well ahead in NRL betting markets, with the next closest team the Brisbane Broncos ($11).
The Broncos, who missed the finals this year, have sacked their coach Kevin Walters and replaced him with experienced mentor Michael Maguire, with many tipping a quick bounce up the ladder.
The Canterbury Bulldogs hold the fourth line of betting, with the club picking up Tom Amone and Sitili Tupouniua, while Jeral Skelton leaves for the Wests Tigers.
The Tigers ($41) are still at the longest odds to win the grand final ($41), despite gaining several big names in the form of Luai, Turuva, and Jack Bird.
