NBA Saturday multi tips – value basketball odds & specials

nba multi of the day

A big slate of NBA basketball on Saturday is headlined by a fight between two Eastern Conference heavyweights and a big, important fight out west between the Wolves and Trailblazers.

Toronto (first place, 12-3) and Boston (fourth, 8-6) will kick off an eight-game spread at the Garden in what could be a great prelude to a future playoff series.

After falling to the Detroit Pistons on the last play of the game on Thursday, Toronto would have felt the sting of losing to recently-fired coach Dwayne Casey in their first encounter since the controversial sacking.

Despite that, Toronto still sit pretty atop the rankings, and would be enjoying the form of the franchise’s big recruit, Kawhi Leonard, who is averaging 24.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists — career highs for the All Star.

How will the Raptors fare away from home in an intimidating TD Garden against a Boston side that is still looking to find its mojo?

This encounter is as big as they get in this young 2018-19 NBA season and will headline our multi tips.

NBA Saturday multi form and tips analysis

After a bitter loss to the Pistons on Thursday, we’re backing Toronto to make a statement against Boston, which has struggled to find its balance so far this year.

The Raptors, who seem to have every player on their roster buying into their roles, will get the job done against Boston, which has a number of players complaining about minutes and opportunity.

Importantly, Boston may struggle to find a strong match-up for Leonard, while Kyle Lowry could play a shutdown role on Celtics star Kyrie Irving.

The Wizards will enjoy extending its three-game winning streak against a struggling Brooklyn, while the Pelicans and Bucks are as good as bank interest.

Portland, which suffered at the hands of a Lebron James cameo, will bounce back against the Timberwolves, which have shown signs of life without Jimmy Butler.
