Lemaire rides eight winners at Tokyo
French jockey Christope Lemaire has ridden a record-equalling eight winners on the 12-race card at Tokyo.
On Sunday, Lemaire equalled the standard set by multiple Japanese champion Yutaka Take in 2002.
The winner of the 2011 Melbourne Cup on Dunaden, Lemaire has also ridden Group One winners in France, England, Hong Kong, Dubai and the United States.
