Free selections and bookmaker bonuses for the week 30 EPL multi

HANDS up who hates the international break?

It’s just not the same without the English Premier League on the weekend.

And while Chelsea has the title pretty much in the bag with a whopping 10 point lead over Tottenham, there is still plenty of jostling for position below the Pensioners.

Two teams involved in that fight are Liverpool and Everton, currently sitting fourth and seventh, and they kick off the match week on Saturday night at 10.30pm AEDT in what promises to be the match up of the round.

There are six games with a 1am kick off on Sunday morning, with both Spurs, away at Burnley, and Chelsea, hosting Crystal Palace, in action.

Last year’s champions Leicester City take on Stoke City, Hull City square off against West Ham, Watford face Sunderland and Manchester United hosts West Bromwich Albion in a bid to close the gap on Liverpool.

The early hours see Southampton welcome Bournemouth at 2.30am and then, later on that evening Swansea face Middlesborough at 10.30pm.

Monday’s stand alone blockbuster pits Arsenal up against Manchester City.

We’ve cast our eye forward over each of these matches and come up with a couple of multis that should hopefully yield you a nice result.

EPL Week 30 multi selections:

Liverpool and draw double chance vs Everton at $1.17

Chelsea to defeat Crystal Palace at $1.29

Tottenham to defeat Burnley at $1.62

Southampton to draw with Bournemouth at $3.80

Four leg multi pays $9.29 with Sportsbet.com.au

Liverpool vs. Everton

Pick: Liverpool or draw ($1.17)

These might just be the two hottest teams in the English Premier League right now. Both Liverpool and Everton have won three of their past five, with the Kop keeping Manchester United at bay in fourth spot and the Toffees surging up the table to challenge for a spot in Europe after a disastrous start to the season. Both teams have been scoring for fun, with Everton firing in 11 goals in its last four and Liverpool nine in its last five. Here is a stat for you: Everton has not beaten Liverpool at Anfield since September 1999. That’s nearly 18 years. Liverpool can be notoriously untrustworthy and the likes of Lukaku could cause trouble and that’s why we’ve gone with the insurance. They will draw plenty of confidence coming off a draw with arch rival and fellow power club Manchester City on the road. This one could be high scoring thriller, with both teams on point offensively. We are expecting – and hoping for a shoot out that makes this Merseyside Derby yet another memorable match for the record books.

Chelsea vs. Crystal Palace

Pick: Chelsea to win ($1.29)

Let’s just take a moment to reflect just how remarkable Chelsea’s reinvention has been. This team never got out of first gear last season and, at one point, looked like it might be in a relegation battle. This season, a change of manager from Jose Mourinho to Antonio Conte has brought it a new lease on life. They have summarily destroyed the competition and a couple more wins will ensure it lifts the English Premier League title once again. Crystal Palace is, well, Crystal Palace, mixing the woeful with the wonderful. Four points out of the relegation zone, Palace has actually strung three straight wins together. But none of those teams were of the calibre of Chelsea. They actually beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last season, but times have changed markedly for both of these teams. Expect the likes of Eden Hazard and Diego Costa to control this match up and book the three points, bringing them one step closer to glory.

Tottenham vs. Burnley

Pick: Tottenham to win ($1.62)

No Harry Kane, no worries. Well, not quite. Tottenham lost the Premier League’s second leading goal scorer to a serious ankle injury a couple of weeks ago, but has still kept pace with Chelsea. Spurs whacked in a pair of first half goals through stars Christian Benteke and Dele Alli to see off Southampton 2-1 last time out. Tottenham has not lost at home in the Premier League this season and that is not about to change in this one, against a Burnley side that has not won any of its past five encounters. Spurs last played Burnley at White Hart Lane in December last year and came away with a routine 2-1 win. We would expect much of the same in this one. Spurs sit 10 points behind Chelsea and the reality is something monumental would have to go wrong for them to close that gap, but they are still being hunted by City and Liverpool, who sit just two and three points behind them, respectively. Games like this should be a fait accomplii, especially if they want to hold on to second spot.

Southampton vs. Bournemouth

Pick: Draw ($3.30)

If you put the four previous selections in a multi, you will get $2.45 with Ladbrokes.com.au. that feels like money for jam, but it’s easy to tip certainties. We always like to put a little more juice in our parlays and we reckon this closely fought contest between two teams locked together on 33 points and right next to each other on the ladder has draw written all over it. You might say that Southampton has the advantage here because the match is played on its home deck, but Bournemouth is coming off a pair of home wins that followed a draw against highly fancied Manchester United at Old Trafford. They are in form and will hold no fear of heading away from home. Southampton crushed Bournemouth 3-1 at home in December, so they will be looking for revenge own the road this time out. Look for the talented Benik Afobe to raise some hell against the Swans, but ultimately watch the two teams eke out a stalemate.
