David Willey odds for Sixers vs. Scorchers – T20 Big Bash League

A few changes have taken place at Sydney Sixers since last summer.
Nic Maddinson has defected to Melbourne Stars, while English stars Sam Billings and Jason Roy have not returned.
Top-order bat Joe Denly arrives after a fine season in the County Championship, but much will depend on how the likes of Justin Avendano, Jack Edwards and Josh Philippe fare on the main stage.
Tom Curran is a handy addition to the pace attack, while there is no shortage of spin options with young leggies Dan Fallins and Lloyd Pope on board.
The first test for the Sixers is a Perth Scorchers outfit that came up well short in their opening clash.
The title favourites were bundled out for a mere 103 at Marvel Stadium on Thursday night, with Michael Klinger the only man to pass 20 with the bat.
Jason Behrendorff and Nathan Coulter-Nile bowled the Scorchers back into it early in the Melbourne Renegades innings, each snatching two wickets apiece inside the first four overs.
It all went to hell from there, however, as some loose efforts from AJ Tye and Usman Qadir allowed the ‘Gades to relieve the pressure and stroll to victory.
New coach Adam Voges will demand a much better show all-round as Perth look to bounce back at the SCG this Saturday.

David Willey did not have the biggest impact at Docklands on Thursday, but he was not alone among the Scorchers in the regard.
The Englishman is a genuine allrounder who hits the ball a long way and snares plenty of wickets with his sharp, left-arm swing bowling.
He tends to bat high up the order in T20 cricket, so the top batsman markets are well worth a look.
Perth are overloaded with quality seam bowlers, but Willey can hold his own with the likes of Behrendorff, Coulter-Nile and Tye.
Perhaps the biggest value comes in Man of the Match betting.
The Northampton native’s odds in the batting and bowling markets are about level, which makes him a great chance for best ground when he delivers in both disciplines.
Sixers vs. Scorchers betting predictions
The Scorchers were ordinary in their first outing of the 2018/19 Big Bash League season, but we know how good they are over the course of a campaign.
On the other hand, there are plenty of unknowns about the Sydney Sixers squad.
Can the likes of Avendano and the Edwards boys do the job, or will the old guard of Henriques, Hughes, et al have to carry the load?
Perth have a very good record against the Sixers and look a decent shout to notch another win at the SCG.
