Dark Dream has dug deep to beat Heavenly Thought in a thrilling duel at the business end of the Queensland Derby at Doomben.
Trainer Kerry Parker finally has a Group One triumph thanks to the gelding’s powerful finish under jockey Tim Clark on Saturday.
Youngstar made a enormous run from well behind to finish third in the 2200m race for three-year-olds.
