Football NT investigating Women’s Premier League incident
Football NT is aware of an alleged incident from Round 9 of Women’s Premier League action between Hellenic and Port Darwin and has issued the following statement.
“FNT is aware of an alleged incident following a Women’s Premier League match over the weekend. A thorough investigation is underway.
“As soon as the investigation is completed Football NT will communicate the outcome to all relevant parties then. Football NT expects a safe environment for players, officials and employees at its venues.
“We will continue to work with all of our clubs to ensure our high standards are upheld.”
The alleged incident has led to FNT working with clubs to ensure the competition can continue to go ahead, with Round 10 to begin this Friday night.

This is just disgusting to read. How can Casuarina players even begin to describe an event they did not witness nor mention how a Muslim girl got “stripped naked” when that is clearly false. The hellenic girls associated with this incident did not assault the girl to the extent that is described so get your facts straight and clear up your messy lies. There is no evidence suggesting this is true. What about the part where the muslim girl verbally assaulted the hellenic girls? Where is that information? Did you forget to put it in to make sure your story purposely jeopardises the Hellenic club?
Was there anything done to provoke this incident or did Hellenic girls just attack? If the statement is so true why was nothing said about the Muslim lady’s throwing hand gestures and getting into their faces? Anyone who was truely there saw. As a Hellenic supporter . I am lost for words on what my club has come to. These girls should not be playing for this club. Hellenic should get rid of them. I don’t think these girls and some people understand how traumatising and wrong it is for someone to be striped of there culture. Fighting and bashing someone is one thing but removing clothes is something completely different. It makes me sick that some people have it in them to do that after they won a game. I hope this girl is ok and the the federation looks after her and I also hope for these girls to get a heavy suspension from the league. I also hope for these girls to never play for my club again.

Where in this article is it pointing out the cas player is Muslim? It has nothing to do with the person in general. You cannot provoke a situation and cannot expect a reaction yes it should have never gone to that extent but the fault is on there end not just the girls in Hellenic
